Purpose

The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Policy and Procurement) on behalf of the Iraq Program Management Office conducted a Pre-Proposal conference for offerors interested in contracting opportunities related to Iraq reconstruction. This conference provided an opportunity for the government to engage potential offerors, at both the prime and subcontractor levels.

The conference addressed the Requests for Proposals that have been issued for the rebuilding of the Iraq infrastructure for the various sectors requiring work (Electric, Communications, Public Buildings, Transportation, Public Works Water, Water Resources, Security and Justice, and Program Management), and any other contracting concerns.
